There are foods that can last almost forever and never spoil. These foods have not been tested to determine the exact amount of time it will take before they expire, so there is no official expiration date. Many people assume these foods must be unhealthy but this is just a myth. In fact, some foods without expiration dates may contain preservatives that help preserve them and keep them from spoiling. In some cases foods without expiration dates contain no preservatives at all, but due to the way it is processed or prepared makes it so that you cannot grow harmful bacteria in foods without expiration dates.

These foods have gone through a special process which ensures they will never expire. Here’s a list of 10 foods with no expiration date

Salt is not a food itself, but it can be found in foods you eat every day. Salt does not go bad and will never expire because it’s made up of sodium chloride, which has no expiration date.
